aerial .... what have you fitted?

I intend fitting a new aerial to the TVR S1 along with a better audio head unit. The existing antenna is a multi section manual type.

Do the modern shark fin amplified units work better than a bee sting mast or similar. I don't want an extending one as they hang down into the boot space where the spare wheel is located.

If they're still available.... the 'Mod-wise' aerial kit was a perfect solution to the rubbish screen mounted aerial in my Griff. It mounts under the front section in the boot and the co-ax routes along the passengers side to the dash.
