Pic Of The Week: Nissan 350Z

A 350Z and an Alpine pass. Very pretty, but don't look down...

The Grimsel Pass in Switzerland is a drivers' favourite, a twisty road that climbs to over 6,500 feet in the snow-white Alpine skyline. A quick Google search brings up all sorts of drivers' clubs and lone enthusiasts telling tales of treacherous drives along the pass, accompanied by suitably grandiose pictures of rolling mountain vistas.

Thanks to PHer Leo Colover (bumblebee) for sending us this lovely shot of his 350Z on the pass, sitting pretty next to a pretty terrifying-looking drop, taken en route to Lake Como in Italy on a very scenic road trip he took last year.

We really like these photos from your road trips, so please keep sending your hi-res landscape-orientated shots to potw@pistonheads.com

Not quite as nice on the weather front, but I was lucky enough to visit another Motoring Mecca in a 350z recently.

Thats an incredible price! Need to look into something like that when I'm over there. Gonna get screwed with a surcharge as I'm under 25.

Polarbert you can use a 3rd party insurer to insure you fully comp on the car so you don't get raped with the surcharges. When you go out there let me know and I will look up the details of the company a lot of students used to use (I studied out there for a year).
