Why is nobody buying my minter

Assuming you aren't based in the sticks in the arse end of nowhere, then the things that would put people off are the advert text, or the pictures.

Im sure you can post the advert text and a couple of the pictures here for evaluation?

Friend of mine is having similar troubles selling his well looked after 306. It's only got 50 something thousand on the clock, full service history and he's asking £1000 for it. Examples with double the mileage in worse condition are selling for only a couple of hundred less...

On an old 306, mileage has little bearing on value tbh.

Using the word "minter" for a start. I'm willing to bet that like 99.9% of cars advertised as "minters" it's nothing of the sort. People need to start looking up what "mint" actually means before describing something as such.

The model of a 306 matters very little, theyre old and theres not much value in any of them. Being low mileage may command an extra £100, same with diesel over petrol but thats about it. Should be bought on condition rather than mileage..

Regardless of its condition, most people in the market for a 306 won't want to pay a grand and most people with a grand to spend won't want a 306 unfortunately (GTI6/Rallye exclusive of course). Unfortunate but thats how it is, the UK used car market is buyer driven.
