Apologies for the short notice, all. I had to take Mrs9 on holiday before she killed me!

The last meet was a 40-car cracker and the weather looks to be good on Sunday, yet again (we've been unbelievably lucky) smile

There has been some interest in another meet, so here we go...

1st Meet: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

2nd Meet: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

3rd Meet: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

The usual details:

All cars are more than welcome to come to The Fairmile Pub in Cobham (close to A3/ M25) on Sunday 3rd September for a meet:

http://www.chefandbrewer.com/pub/fairmile-portsmou...

The pub will make drinks available to us from 11am and people are obviously free to use the pub from 12pm opening.

Would be great to meet some fellow PHers and see a nice variety of cars.

There is loads of parking and we can use the green out the front for parking/ display.

There is also a Shell garage, opposite, so we can all fill up with the good stuff or use the Jet Wash.

Lets get a list going:

1. Dom9 - Renault Clio V6 Phase 1 (Illiad Blue)

I'm a maybe (Tom - Tiger Six track car in fluoro red). Not sure if I'll make it though as it clashes with Shere hill climb day, and I don't think I'll have time to do both.

If anyone fancies coming over to the hill climb after the pub meet (only 15min drive), it's a good day out with a wide variety of machinery ascending the local cyclists favourite hill, Staple Lane. Last year had everything from a couple of million quids worth of Blower Bentley to a Lambo Aventador.

Does the golden appendage move at all? PH Surrey chapter clutch change?

Two of us did all the Lotus Motorsport Elises (Autobytel series) over a couple of days - how hard can it be?

The bulkhead has given way due to too much rust. Water was collecting behind a panel. Can't be bothered to fix it; will just buy something else at some point but not in the next couple of days!

hehe I fancy something different.

Uncertain whether to replace or just get a more interested everyday budget car. My 4x4 has a 3 litre engine and weighs over 2t and whilst the MPG is only about 20mpg which some may facepalm over especially EV drivers, the reality is that on a trip to Glasgow, it only required 1.5 tanks ie a quick refuel in the Midlands. If I'd had an EV, I'd have stopped about 39 times and taken 3 days to get to Glasgow.

Nice mix of cars coming!

The more, the merrier - spread the word!

Hoofy - know what you mean about mpg but big tanks. Think we one-stopped Monaco home in the 545i, fully laden!

Could keep the MGF for parts: http://www.speed3automotive.co.uk/
