Hi all,

Does anyone know who is the current owner of this car or have any contact details? I’ve come across a couple of old bits and pieces they may be interested in (not looking for money, just putting something in “the right place”).

Thanks

Pretty sure that the owner is Brynmor Pierce.

Not sure how to get hold of him but try the “Rally Log in and natter” Facebook page.

I think he has the car for sale.

ETA. If you go on the FB “rally cars/ parts buy and sell” page, you will see an ad about 4 days ago of the car for sale, so you can message the seller from there.

For many years E777KKV was part of the Richard Burns Collection and The Richard Burns Foundation.
Remembering the career of a great British World Rally Champion.

Sadley, they have all been sold off now, but memories last for ever.

They were all reunited.

At the 2021 Castle Combe Rally Day.

What a great day.

I’ve just had another look, it’s not even a replica. It’s got an 8V engine, E777 is 16V, E7 got the wrong seats, wrong interior.
E777 is the actual car Richard used, completely restored with every detail as it was when he last drove it.

Since said car is mine I’ll explain …it’s not a replica of Richard’s car. When having it restored I could have gone many different ways, e777 was actually an 8 valve phase one in its first guise, it later became a 16v phase 2 !!
Mine (E7) is to period Group N spec with the addition of a diff, the graphics choice was mine as I’m a huge fan of Richard and Robert.
I have NEVER tried to pass the car off as the genuine E777 or indeed as an accurate replica of E777. It does however have a huge history all of its own and I’ve been very proud to be the owner and have some lovely comments from people along the way.

Sorry BEP, I was not trying to criticize your car, I was just replying to andy97. May be I should have worded it a bit better.
Your`s is a nice car, and I`m so glad you are a fan of Richard Burns. I`ve been a friend of the Burns family since Richard was a teenager, anything to do with him or his cars gets me going. ( I`m Autocare 205GTI )

Yes, Richard’s sister Jo and her son Julian lives not far from me, I see them quite often.
