The questions are .
Can I take my dog with me ( can’t find info on the website) .
And is it worth it just to take a look around etc .
Never been and we are almost passing on our European road trip .
There doesn’t seem to be anything on particularly that day ,( Tues 2nd ) and the circuit doesn’t appear to open until 5pm .
Seems a shame to just drive past tho !

It's a public road isn't it? Presumably Mutley will be welcome.

So on that premise will the road be open to drive as a normal road during the day , it’s saying open for tourist drives from 5-7.30 .
Is there anything worth seeing if you’re not driving the track/ road ?

There’s the ring week museum but check the same site you found the track is open.

As you mention tourist drives are 5-7.30 and if you’re only there for a day then getting on track at 5 avoids any closures. During the day there are track days or industry pool which is prototypes driving.

You might not get let on in a motorhome, seen several non run of the mill vehicles turned around at the barrier over the years. Best to ask there before buying a lap ticket

For very obvious reasons many race circuits won't let dogs anywhere near.

If it’s not a massive detour, it’s well worth a few hours looking around. You can’t take a motorhome on the Nordschleife though.

A late bump but when I was there in March I saw a family in a large Audi EV SUV with a huge Great Dane dog sitting centre rear but poking his head through centre front.

I would sooner go in your TVR and do a few laps of the circuit as we did.

It seems very sensible, but at Spa for WEC a couple of years ago, I saw one of the marshalls had his dog on a lead, trackside, during the race...
