Main Event and Carl Cox Challenge
Discussion
I'll be crewing at this weekend's events with Jere Rantaneimi on PM1 (ProMod). If anyone is coming please stop by to say hello and I'll show you around. Just look for the orange ProMod and ask for Max. We had a tough Doorslammers but overcame a lot of issues to run a 5.84 test pass so we can speed up from there.

It is 8.6l with twin 88mm turbos running on methanol, putting out c. 3,600hp.

That car is one amazing car the build quality looks amazing when I was looking around it and you were /are running great consistent times .
Shame I missed this tx I would of loved to be a bit more nosy, have a great day tomorrow 👍👍

Shame to miss people but we were busy! 3 events and 18 runs over 10 days.
Doorslammers was tough - we had a few changes to the car and suffered badly from shake, plus a full transmission rebuild. We went out in the 1st round with shake, but ran an 8.45 later in testing.
The Carl Cox Challenge was great with overall win, lowest ET and highest speed to take maximum points - and the money!
The FIA was hard with breakages and crazy heat. We had a broken valve spring blast through a filter and into the oil pump on Sunday so it was a very late night full strip and rebuild. We qualified 3rd on 5.83 earlier. We got to the semi finals when we had a spark plug core come adrift, exit the chamber and wedge one of the the wastegates open so just lost over the line after leading at the 1000'.
We'll be back in September for the final Carl Cox round and the FIA Finals so hope to see some PHers then.
