A God's gift day: gorgeous cars, wonderfull weather, super atmosphere . . .

A few PHers there: thank you Digga951 (blast was marvelous, your car is definately sorted out), Marieke, GTRene, 350Zwelgje, General P (first LHD Sagaris) and GF, GunMetal and GF, of course your truly and Wim Klassiekerrally and wife bow Also a major thanx to Tom who had his Lambo's at display. Soundbyte of the day: white LP5000S. And yes, the GT40 Audi 4.2 rep and the stunning orange Murci were close . . . Big thanx to the organisation. A Mini Goodwood . . .

Quick pics of some Phers here. Major imagedump this evening / night. BOOKMARK to see some luverly classic and hot wheels.

Good luck Wim

More pics and review of Digga's 350i soon. Soundbyte to die for.

Stunning piece of Corno's SEAC there: we'll meet next spring to rip some tarmac!

There they go, light-wavey . . .

Dan on his way home.
Bert, on the left, is an artist who can paint a luverly car. Michiel van der Brink, of Spyker fame, was present too. Stunning pieces of art.

I'm all with you mate, it was a realy fantastic day, me and a friend(girl who also love's cars) where there on that sunny "carheaven" day...my thanks also goes to the organize people and the people who help creating such day it was much better then I thought it would beyes saw lovely cars there and the place where it all happened was realy a nice place to be! with a music/drinks/eating/shops/ and ofcorse lots of cars and very nice to meat some PH members some coming from far like Daniël? and GF coming from the UK in their TVR 350i wich also sounded awesome
I did not make many pictures only of one I could not resist and that was this Ford GT40 rep with audi 4.2 tuned engine, the owner sayd it had almost or around 400hp and I must admit had a lovely sound! realy awesome and a wannehave, here some pics and sorry for the almost pink looking car it was in nice red but the sun was strong and my camera wrong installed not for sun I forgot

The audi 4.2 is realy a blessing, its fast sounded very good and reliable, also some nice details and proper work the man did!

one big? mistake he made was the use of some chrome ventshields! the one you use in your house...and to much bling! he better put some alu or matt black on that...

I also wanted to make a picture of the very nice rearend of this mk1 model looked almost like the ferrari GTO cars..love that! but the 2 kids thought I liked to make a picture of them with the car guess the german owner intstructed them to stand correctly the did not moved a inch haha...ow what, I like this picture too

Hey Elvis where are you think your going?

Elvis left the building...cloud9

At one point the Lambo Murci and this GT40 (also audi engine) stood next to eachother and the lambo realy looked BIG and massive...and the GT40 Low and wide...for looks I took the GT40 anytime but must admit also the Murci sounded real hot and cool they fired it up many timesears
All in all we've had a great dayyes
Ow and I forgot to meat Wim and forgot to meat Michel vd Brink...aaaaaaaaaaaaasorry guys the cars inferred? me...
thanks
GTRene

Dropdeadgorgeous Murci let it rip several times, the crowd pleaser numero uno!

A pic that reflects the atmosphere just right: sunny, lot's of happy people having a wonderfull time and about a 100 cars . . .

At the end of the day we were all tired . . . Time for the big boys to put away the camera's and have drink.

Yesterday I woke up at 6.15 and fell in bed at 23.45 . . . but I just couldn't sleep because of the impressions . . .

Next year we'll organize it again! God I'm tired!
Got a day off from work, but could do with a week off...
Resized 217 pics, and haven't even begun with Dinkels pics! yikes
Have to make a selection for the website and magazines...

But right now I'm going to pick up the kids from school. A thing I can't do normally, so I'm taking the opportunity now

Yep, you missed some nice cars! and some nice PH members too next year I will go again if I canyes hope the wether will be this good again, guess for some it was a bit hard to find because I did not see any signs to follow but from the mainroad I saw some visiter cars parked on a field so I guesd that could be it...its a bit hidden in a lovely garden, very nice there
Maybe see you there next year Marki.

HA! you read it

16th: oldtimerday Alphen a/d Rijn, some Dutch PHers there . . .

Hopped 350 Vette, just a few mins before GunMetal roared in and parked his piece of SEAC in front of it.

Last thing I'll do today . . . I'm dying here. Next October-issue of Dutch British Car mag there'll be a 9 page (and cover) article of the LHD Sagaris and a Hotline spread about the Klassiekerrally Winterswijk. Deadline today! I'll post some more beauties tuesday . . .

Loverly Brit stuff there: happy TR4.

I love those old Jag mills. This racy XK140 sounded the absolute nuts. Sparco's in . . .

Saggy came over and had their her first rally. Everybody wanted to see and touch the plastic bombshell. What a mean piece of car.

More to come . . .

The XK140 is a faboulous car. This particular beastie has Sparco seats and is a bit souped up. Boy does that sound nice. Even the missus loves that much beef!

You simply can't get a better colour for a Murci than this orange. Anyone know the name?

It took our Sagaris a few moments to leave the event. The single way roads are narrow but the contesters are friendly like this immaculate silver Stang.

I'm so happy with my E300. The flash fills in properly and keeps this image moving. Nice porn-red interior sir.

Next year I'd like to see a line-up of noisy TVRs, if that's OK with Wim. Now the Lambo's - a Murci, 3 Countachs and the best Espada you'll ever see - provided for adequate soundbytes . . .

. . . as did this amazing Bugatti T35C Argentina rep. Much to the crowds surprise: "that much noise from this old thingy?"

My fav Jaguar XK120 of the day. An old and not that spot on car, but boy what a gracious thing.

A handfull E's this year. Love the steel wheels and the four-end exhausttip on this one.

Lots of happy cars in the 'affordable' league, like this racy FIAT Spider. Sounding ready to conquer the world.

Tommy let's his white Countach rip. This is not his everyday outfit BTW

Typical Klassiekerrally Winterswijk pic. Busy, cosy and all sorts of cars and folks.

Kids love them oldies. This chaindriven '34 Frazer Nash TT 1.5 was the oldest car on the field.

Love those big Mercs. Comfy seats and a bit Yankish in style.

Planes flying over the crowds heads: impressive!

The way to drive a Murci when in reverse. What a car.

Dan on the way out. I fell in love with his car. It's so nice and drives really good. All the speed I'll ever need for peanuts money: 30 mpg FFS! Only 20 cars with this wheels . . . Talk soon Dan!

A mean mother this GT40 rep with 4.2 Audi V8: 400 hp. Sounding the absolute nuts, beautifully made and a dwarf compared to the Murci. About 1250 kgs should make this a bullet.

Want more?
