Flashed by camera, but I'm sure I wasn't speeding

I got flashed last night by a Talivan, but was definitely going below 30 (in a 30 limit), I've heard they just ping everybody though in those things "just in case" you're going over..

OP: if your speedo reading was closer to 30 than 40, I think the chances of being done for speeding are infitessimaly close to 0%

surely there is just the odd error as well? I remember being flashed at about 20-25mph in a 30 in blackheath at 6am alone on the road and recieved nothing obviously.

There used to be a camera on my old commute that would quite often flash when cars were at or below the limit (50mph) to the point that there would often be a sign on the post saying something to the effect of "don't worry if your flashed this camera is faulty"

There is a camera at the end of the A406 about 200 yards before you get to Chiswick roundabout. I used to work round that way and when travelling in the opposite direction i.e. towards Hanger Lane, I would delibrately accelerate hard to about 60/70 MPH once the camera was in view and this usually triggered the camera which is the other side of the road.

I have been flashed a couple of times too when travelling within the limits. I remember once it happened in the Limehouse link tunnel and I was worried enough so I memorised the reg of the car that accelerated past me at the camera just incase. I never received a NIP on either occassion.

i have had that before as well where you set off a gatso face on.....could this actually ever catch you or is it not possible?
