Give the guy a break, he's come on for some advice because of a st situation and ends up getting abuse because he's taken a £200 a month PCP? What a finacial disaster how will he ever recover!

Anyone who's been to uni in the last 10 years knows that you have a lot of disposable income if you don't piss it up the wall every week.
Mmm. Let's remember that that "income" is borrowed money that you're going to have to pay back unless you don't earn much for the next few decades after graduating, and which is accruing interest in the meantime...

At what point did I say I'm using my loan to fund my car? Another person assuming things laugh

So you don't have a loan at all?

Because if you do, and your finances are so tight that you can't afford to get out of this finance deal, then your loan is definitely a substantial part of your finances, as is the money going onto this.

Just because I'm nosey, how far over your mileage allowance are you at now? Just wondering if that's a financial hook the dealer has got into you...

Yup.

Norris (TooMany2cvs) is a very bitter and misguided old chap and now he's retired has found a new purpose in life - coming onto PH and finding fault with others. We should be feeling sorry for him rather than criticising, but he cannot help himself.

Totally agree with you. It's a shame that certain people on PH with anger issues just jump on threads and personally critisise the OP, off topic, and with no foundation whatsoever, rather than trying to resolve the issue or give constructive advice. Best thing is to just ignore them.
