I'm sure I'm not the only one that has had to sell a boat, but does anyone else find it hard? This weekend we're off to take my late mother's boat to brokerage, last Sunday we had to empty all the stuff from her, and that was really difficult emotionally, not to mention on the springs of the car driving home... Boat is a narrowboat, custom built to mum's spec and even named after her, so I don't think Saturday will be much fun frown

If you have emotional attachment yes. I am selling a boat currently and cannot wait to see it go....more of a pain than a pleasure and I am looking for something else. With something with a family attachment and custom made obviously there is pain when it needs to sold....like your childhood home or family home.

Boat does sound special. Im guessing you don't want to use it?

I don't own a boat yet, but as someone who has developed emotional attachments to a couple of cars before I understand where you're coming from. I hope today goes ok for you.
