Hi all

I've been and had a look at a couple of these. I like the car both inside and out, especially in. Question is at 41 am I too old for a hot hatch? Pretty sure I'll get plenty of trying to recapture youth jibes off family and friends. Is a c63 coupe more fitting?
Also it would be a weekend car
Opinions appreciated.

Thanks

Simon

Thanks for the comments.

I went to MB Birmingham today to look at C63 coupes. Impressive car, but then I saw the A45 which just looked more sporty and fun.

Are there any essential options I Should be looking for?

I know they're fairly new but have there been any reported problems I should be looking for?

Thanks

Simon

This :-)

Also consider the other *45AMG cars in case they tickle you. No massive issues appear to be cropping up as yet. 8k miles into enjoying my GLA45 aged 42.

Happy days! If for any reason it doesn't finalise, give me a shout. I have a friend selling a low miles, MB warrantied mega-spec car.

Hi all
It has memory package, panoramic roof,Harmon kardon sound, command lots of other things like night package, dab, heated seats not sure if they're standard or not?
Anyone know what technical pack 04 is? Why are the wheel arches water cooled?
Thanks

High-performance cooling system with components from the SLS AMG
The high driving dynamics of the A 45 AMG call for a highly effective cooling system. On the basis of the components belonging to the SLS AMG, a low-temperature circuit is additionally deployed for air-water charge air cooling of the four-cylinder turbo engine. The large cooler section at the front level of the cooling module is supplemented by an additional cooler in the wheel arch. Together with the charge air cooler which is connected in series, a high-performance electric pump ensures the required flow through the water coolers located behind the large intake ports. This provides for ideal cooling of the highly compressed charge air, thereby contributing towards optimum engine performance.

At a guess, there is a heat exchanger which is in the driver side front wheel arch which may be named this on the option list? Other A class won't have it.

Picked it up today. Wow, I knew it was quick but wasn't prepared for how quick it could be point to point. My nerve goes long before the car gets anywhere near its limits.
Must say great service from MB Beaconsfield.
