Pedestrian hit by bus, no arrests made?

Yeh, looks like either a mechanical issue or a medical issue with the driver. If neither of those apply then I think a dangerous/reckless driving charge is inevitable.
Actually looks much more like a "minimum wage = minimum effort" scenario to me! Sort of similar to the Croydon tram drivers that need to have a sleep on the job! Then someone suggests automatic braking - well sack the "driver" then as you don't need one once you do the automatic control!
The pedestrian must have been in shock then or soon after, which would account for him just standing up and carrying on as before.
The human brain is very adept at dismissing something so unexpected for a bit until the conscious part of the mind stands up and says "wtf?! That really did just happen!".

The bus appears to be travelling too fast for the S bend. Look at its trajectory: the abrupt change of direction and the accompanying reversal of the body roll.
Almost as if it was on a slalom course in an autotest. There could be several reasons why the incident happened. Hopefully the investigation will reveal the actual one..

They get paid a lot more than minimum wageLooking at this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTNlwBzgZQ8
You can see the speed of the first bus then the other one comes hurtling around the corner, i did read somewhere that sticking throttles were an issue with those buses at some point
