Hand brake anchors

Hi all, I've been asking around to see if anyone has any new hand brake anchors. Ones that bolt onto the rear hubs.
Other than finding someone who can make any which is not easy from here, can anyone help?

And work for Network Rail, they must have a fabrication shop or two


Guess you've tried Adrian @, thought he had most bits somewhere?

Do you have anything of the old ones, getting something made will be much easier with a pattern. From memory they're fairly simple things, scrounge some scraps of metal and get the hacksaw out, even if you have to find someone to do the weldy bit?

Easy little fabrication job with some tube and Plate
I am sure he has tried the obvious and the not so obvious places Neil and despite your belief they dont stock or have everything as its a part that does not exactly wear out unless someone misplaces one not often needed.
So the obvious thing is just fabricate a pair up

The obvious thing would be to just ask the relevant specialist who may well have a stock of parts taken from old, damaged, replaced etc uprights. But as an alternative yes they are simple enough to make.

The little brackets that bolt onto the rear uprights and hold the outer end of the handbrake cable

Ok I think I know the ones you mean, thanks. I think Adrian will have them. He did slit of work in the past on uprights.

He before you all continue with supplier worship he has asked all suppliers friends etc including those mentioned here and none available

Maybe if someone has some brackets and need them perhaps they can still do a sketch. Then at least it's possible to make some.

I have spoken with my favourite marque specialist today and he has all 3 types available??

AV has a few different sets in production now. Just waiting for a price then we will see.

Does anyone know if they are handed? So the cable slot is at the top on both sides?

Some are handed, some are universal. I am reliably informed that there are 3 versions.
