Nah this will be kept for 10 years at least. The maps will probably be out of date by then.

i wondered that as I had a 2017 GTD for 3 months and that would not work with apple car play despite being told it would. It was only a 3 month flex lease and I wasn't allowed to have one going forward as one of the directors didn't like it!

Well whichever manufacturer it was a good outcome nonetheless just a shame it took so long for them to resolve the problem.
