Same as above, ie wind your neck in.
Right oh. I was just trying to find out if they were causing the OP a specific problem, or if he was just doing good. Yes, it's my opinion, but these things can bite you in the arse with neighbours. Cheers though.
I was agreeing with your point above (maybe I should have replied more coherently) if its not directly affecting the OP why bother with checking details etc...

And you MIGHT see a DVLA van around next year. I'd use 101 .
Forget those who say "stop being a busybody"- IF more folk reported this sort of car, then those who chance it might get the message, that if ANPR don't get them, then upset legal MOP might report them.
Personally, I'd like to see local forces getting the proceeds of fines for no Tax/MOT/INSURANCE and proceeds from sale of decent seized vehicles to run a department to get this menace off our roads.

Unless I missed an obvious comment, the OP said the cars were not in use and had been parked for several months.
So obviously they are not in use.

If they're not in use,how are they any different than someone having a skip on the road?

I think you'd get pcensoredd off if there was an abandoned empty skip left on your road for months on end.
