Does anyone have any experience with AV installers in the Lichfield area? I've moved into a house where a Samsung 55" was included in the sale- it appears to be mounted using the Samsung slim wall mount which works in a similar way to hanging a picture using wire which Is clamped into two discs attached to a fake chimney breast. It needs removing and a neater cabling solution sorted so if anyone can recommend anyone it would be appreciated.
I can find online vids of how to mount using the Samsung slim mount, but nothing about unmounting. If the wire clicks into the discs is it brute force over ignorance to lift the wire out of the discs again?

Cheers.

It should just lift off, I think there is a small lip that makes it harder to remove but someone else that can move the wire around should solve this.

I am not a million miles away and can come up and help if needed. I do work in the trade.

Thanks for the offer mate. If you reckon there's nothing more technical than pushing the wire up and out of the clamps I'll give it shot with a couple of mates.

Yes, it should just lift up and the cables will eventually release from the grip of the mount.

V.

PS, They are a horrid mounting solution.

They were free with Samsung TVs a few years ago glad they stopped it!

Just put up two Samsung 85" and two 75" Screens in Milan, with Cheif brackets damn they are heavy but atleast they thought of the poor bugger that has to install them. Fit the top bar to the wall then slide the rest of the heavy bracket on followed By screwing in the lower rail bolts.
