Tractor pushes parked cars out of the way

farmer should have got a forklift down and had the cars away
Funny you should mention that, I have a photo on my phone somewhere of a farmer picking up a car with a Manitou (pallet forks underneath it) and moving it elsewhere because they had parked in his gateway. It happened about 30 miles from this incident.
The farmers are clearly becoming peeved!

Shame none of the photos show the available gap.
That van managed to get further off the road than the Yeti.
And those tyre marks next to the BMW, that's not from a tractor squeezing by, very strange.
The tractor probably had a loader on it which may have been used to re-position some of the cars to facilitate his passing them. That van managed to get further off the road than the Yeti.

looking at this on the desktop rather than phone the pics are a bit clearer,
look how far in the van is compared to the yeti and still lost a mirror,
perhaps Farmer Gyles was making sure he hit each and every car
Obviously not clear enough as the van has its mirror folded in, not lost.look how far in the van is compared to the yeti and still lost a mirror,

As you live in the area, would it not be a good idea to (not you, natch) to provide some parking for people so they don't block the 'kin roads? Probably be more profitable that farming sheep and bullocks.
I was informed that a farmer has a field just along the road from where this happend where he allows cars to park and charges for it.Apparently there was only a handful of cars using the field.

Did the van lose a mirror? Looks as if it was just folded in by the owner (or perhaps pushed in by the passing tractor) but there doesn't appear to be any/significant damage.look how far in the van is compared to the yeti and still lost a mirror,

A farmer did this at the foot of Nan Bield with honesty payment. I observed a fair few turn up and walk off. Why bother with the liability, field churned up with self entitled types thinking the countryside should be free to them.Once in new zealand i had the huge delight in watching a kiwi Shepard, who was moving about 80 sheep along a country road who was being followed by a Toyota pick up with a FO huge sign saying danger livestock in road and amber flashing lights
he had his dogs herd the sheep tightly around a car who had come speeding down the road and over taken the Toyota oblivious to the sign.
it is amazing the mess 80 sheep can make to the average car i don,t think there was a panel other than the roof that was not dented
Mr kiwi was quite vocal towards the car driver for endangering his flock and walked off with a huge grin on his face afterwards

If we do track him down can I have his details? Could do with hiring him to teach the local premium SUV contingent a lesson about "no parking" signs in my street when they abandon their wker wagons twice a day, blocking the road and preventing access in and out of garages, despite there being a very large and perfectly good car park at the school which they, for some inexplicable reason, are reluctant to use.
Hmm. Not a fan of vandalising cars, and I'd want the head of anyone who did it to one of mine (though I don't park like a bellend, so unlikely to end up in this scenario)... But on the other hand, I regard walkers as selfish buggers who want the countryside to be some kind of theme park to be enjoyed by them and them alone, so it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they did just dump their cars such that the road was rendered impassable for anyone in a larger vehicle.

No wonder the farmer was pissed! That's the narrowest bit of the road and the place must have been heaving for cars to be parked that far down...
