According to a poster further up he says he was pinged at 10:35, but where’s the evidence of that? Not being funny but 10:35 could be the time on the ticket and have nothing to do with the video.

I didn’t hear the copper say where he zapped him, but again, I might have missed it, as 15 mins of dull driving followed by a lot of Chinese (?) and a virtually unintelligible copper in the background doesn’t make for riveting viewing.
10:35 into the clip!

If you want the full detail, read the Pepipoo thread.

Silver something, I think he's called. I see him as more of a cultist than a salesman, or do some of the peepipoo saddos charge for their nonsense?

I’m not going on that site full of weirdos.

Haven’t we still only got the drivers word for it that it was at 10:35 in the video?

rofl

There's always someone who comes on PH these days and on page one says "I don't believe a word of it". We're running true to form.

Cultist is probably a better description.

I just assumed “salesman” because for anyone to be so keen to promote a site I’d expect them to have a financial interest in driving traffic there.

I started by asking questions and, yes I’m a cynic with these. Is that any worse than believing everything you’re told?

I had the video playing in the background while I ate lunch, he was just ambling along the whole way. In this case the OP is telling the truth and the police were mistaken.

It's probably a second or 2 after, but yes.

That is not a police car. Watch it through. It’s a road sign.

Yep, you can see the tail lights/centre brake lights of the X5 on the slip at 10:38

Not in the photo that’s being used you can't. The guy has circled a road sign as proof that it’s the police. Even the lights that can be just made out don’t prove a thing.

I’ll leave you lot to it.

Not the red Roadworks sign you plonker, the reflective battenberg strip just to the left would indicate that the video uploader has recorded, albeit not in total clarity, a police car parked up above the hard shoulder.

Maybe this will help some posters to empathize with people who've been on the wrong end of a mistake made by the police.
The operative word being "mistake".
The majority of people on this forum and over at Pepipoo are not the victim of a mistake, are bang to rights and are suddenly sorry.....for getting caught against the odds (with the lower number of traffic officers around).

I don't think anyone wouldn't empathise with somebody at the wrong end of a deliberate lie or mistake - but 99% of the "mistakes" reported on forums are very much not.
I think Gavia has proven you to be incorrect here.
It's very frustrating when you're innocent and get punished for something you didn't do or when somebody refuses to believe something which you know to be true.

I don't visit pepipoo but have been the victim of a police mistake.

That reflective big long strip is a black and white chevron sign. It’s not a police car. Apparently the police car is the red dot just after it which another told me to open my eyes to see it.

Who’s the plonker now, Rodney?
