As for the Police staking out the garage waiting for someone to turn up - for one stolen car.

Why not? Just use retired ones.

After all they’ll sit in a van all day trying to nick speedsters on the only bit of traffic free highway in a 40 mile radius whilst staring down the barrel of a speed gun

I know... was wondering the same thing.

Here they have done a decent job, recovered a 25k + stolen car .

Good job by the feds I would say...
