CIE is more about ensuring your car is insured if it’s taxed. In this case it’s most likely to be SORN so a different penalty reason but similar fine.

Might be SORN'd, might not be. I suppose any combination of breaches is possible.

Yep I know that’s the point I was trying to make, just in case it’s an oversight from the OP/he’s expecting fully comp cover. thumbup
