You're overthinking this, poppet.
You wouldn't judge the entire teaching profession by the couple who get done each year for having their hand up a fourth former's skirt, so you can't judge the entire police service by the few who fall below the standard required.
A bit rich mithering about justice, when you are quite prepared to damn an entire profession.
As for being offended, as a former police officer I'd like to cordially invite you fk the right off, over there, yes, right over there, fk off over there.
I think you'll find that people on here are all about judging certain demographics as a whole, rather than just a few that give these groups a bad name. To all those who have forgotten that the thread is called "Speed, Plod & the Law" you need to pay more attention.
To the habitual insult hurlers you are only confirming my low opinion of you.
Nothing personal, but if you are a serving police officer I regard you as capable of shooting me in the head if ordered to. Regardless of whether my actions posed a threat to you or anyone else.
I base this assumption on well established research that shows people who are given immunity from the consequences of their actions are more likely to commit heinous acts than those subject to law.

To the Xenophobes who think that, because I no longer live in the UK I should not have an opinion on the health of the country I love and respect, cheer up you will soon be able to exclude other cultural influences, and be the poorer for it.
The UK deserves police forces that are more accountable . Hopefully the Commission will beget them.

His profile says he lives in Belgium.
Exactly, so why his The vast majority of people go through life with minimal interaction with the police (e.g. the odd speeding ticket or being the victim of crime) whereas a few people seem to have constant problems with the law. Maybe police draw names out of a hat when choosing their personal vendettas, it can't be anything to do with the lifestyle these people choose.

Wow!
America knows a thing or two about liars in positions of power. Amidst all the antics of their president and the republican party the liars in the MET have not escaped notice.

I would not love or like to shoot anyone in the head just for expressing their views. Those of you who would need to take a serious look at yourselves. I recommend you seek psychiatric help
I think that someone who is intelligent and pops on to a forum to provoke rather than engage or debate constructively needs help.Vaud said:

What exactly do you think you can report me for? Be specific please.
Read the posting rules.1) Do not post material that the PistonHeads Team would find offensive, annoying or upsetting, etc

I note you do not put your name to your posts. Why hide? It diminishes the value of your opinions.
Do you think anyone else here values your opinions, named or not? How do we know the name you post under is even close to yours anyway? You could be spy or a LIAR or both. It's "Met", by the way.

You think that's bad, you should hear what some of the secret service operatives get up to!
You’re not wrong!I saw a documentary the other night about a secret service operative, this bloke was a raging alcoholic & serial womaniser, not only that he was involved in a series of scandals & botched operations and I reckon he was also embezzling public money somehow as he was shown driving around in a Aston Martin!
The truth will come out eventually...
