Well the Court's decision went against me. Spent today trying to evaluate why I did not obtain the decision of the court, possibly both my assertiveness, the verbal evidence I both offered, and the way i presented the same. The Claimant I was up against had previous experience in Court proceedings, together being a professional "con" person.

Is there an appeal procedure against a County Court Judgment, what are the pros and cons, costs etc in doing the same. I am quite certain that had I had legal, professional representation, then the decision would have been quite different.

As with all your posts over past weeks on this "subject", you give no information as to how you are in this situation, or even what the situation is, therefore you will receive no meaningful replies or advice.

Don't think the OP has grasped the concept of forums and replying to an existing thread rather than starting a new one every time he wants to say something.

I spent about 30 seconds looking through his post history for some clue as to what this might relate to, but gave up after realising that it would be like Memento or something.

Plus a mention in this thread - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

It may or may not have something to do with a contentious building project he is involved in.

You will need proper grounds and permission from the judge - https://www.moneyclaimsuk.co.uk/PDFForms/EX340.pdf
If you do satisfy the criteria (which I will hazard a guess you won't)* don't even think of trying to do so as a LIP.
I won't be cheap and if you lose, unlike the small claims track you'll also be paying the other side's costs.

 * I get the feeling you're clutching at straws because you are now regretting the decision to represent yourself.
Given that you knew your opponent was tricky/devious, I'm surprised you took that gamble tbh.

Yes you have a right to Appeal. However you should do so only if you have proper grounds as noted above there are costs risks.

Unfortunately, the Court preferred their evidence over mine is not a ground of Appeal. If you are considering appealing then I would suggest you go see a lawyer with the documents etc and get an impartial view.

What is a "professional "con" person". Had a look and couldn't find it as a job description. Maybe if that was your stance, it was the reason the court found against you.

That, and turning up at court armed only with "assertiveness" and "verbal evidence" was never going to end well.

Disappointing for you to lose. What was the value you were claiming?
