Anyone had any success or advice. We are away now, Menorca. Booked with Thomas cook. Food Buffett is diabolical, state of the furniture outside needs to go in a skip and the rooms are a shoe box, not what was advertised on the website. I've spoken to the rep here and emailed TC direct.

'' If on arrival something in your hotel doesn’t live up to our description, we’ll take care of it within 24-hours. In the unlikely event that we can’t fix it for you, we’ll send you a voucher for 25% of what you paid for your holiday, or we’ll fly you home and refund the cost of your holiday. ''

Not before uploading to YouTube for us to see.

We might able to offer some constructive abuse.

I imagine it is all inclusive. What do the reviews on Tripadvisor say?

Thomas Cook went into administration a few months ago didn't they?
I can imagine their refunds department is in the mode of give away as little as they can get away with.

That sounds fairly standard for one of their 3-starAll inclusive offers.

Would I be right in thinking less than £350pp?

No way Hosè in August. 2 weeks AI at somewhere mid range is about 5k for a fortnight with the main tour operators, family of 4. You can get quite a bit cheaper if you go with smaller online outlets and/or if you are prepared to go to turkey/Tunisia etc. Menorca in August with TC won’t be a cheap holiday. In my experience anyway.

You could well be right (my experience of AI is restricted to Morocco and Turkey smile )

That being said, (and definitely not wishing to come across all PH PBD) I'd still suggest that it sounds like one of the cheaper hotels.

I think they owe a lot of money but have Fosun (a large Chinese buyer) lined up.

Make sure you leave an honest review on TA and look at other reviews
TC are still trading and wil deal with any complaint for breach of contract, when you get home
If its that bad, try and get moved to another hotel
