Interesting history from the mainstream press.........but strange that it falls under the remit of their Court and Crime Reporter!

I always thought they looked cute, in a mini-Aston sort of way, and more exclusive than the Scimitar of that era.

The Invader bears a striking resemblance to a slightly out of shape Alfa Giulia Sprint GT.

My brother used to have one.

The GT is a smashing little car, I went to look at one a few months back, but failed to do a deal.

That patronising headline format (. . . you've never heard of) only serves to infuriate the reader, despite which it is used widely.
'twas written by a journalist I've never heard of!

That early 70's oil crisis is the final paragraph of so many stories of low volume makers of really cool cars. Such a shame. That prototype looked very interesting.

A friend of my dad had a nice burgundy invader with a cream leather interior.

It was a really nice place to sit, looked good and sounded nice.

Performance a bit underwhelming (even then in 79ish) as my dads capri felt quicker to me.

Never got to drive it though (I was only 12)
