I really don't like bastardised plates of any description, but this thread has seen some unnecessarily nasty posts, in my opinion.

It's a shame really because I'd like to understand why people mess around with their plates but I don't think we'll ever get to to that level of debate.

What I don't want to do is put up something personally identifiable on a forum that is in the public domain. Why don't you put up your registration plate of your cars? Sounds like we could all do with the lesson in perfection.

There's a picture of my car on readers rides. I'm blank my number plate there too.
However I also go to PH meets (although haven't been for a while due to other commitments) and speak to lots of people and, surprisingly, have even made a couple of friends - I wonder what you would be like face to face :-) I doubt you would be quite such a loud mouth.

Anyway you want to see my registration plate so why don't you post yours up ??? Maybe with some custard .

This is PH, people quite enjoy trying to take the "upper hand" and certainly so once a couple of people openly post up opinions similar to them, hence the general comments about people being "powerfully built company directors" -

I love a good debate, and I also enjoy "people watching" and phycology so it's interesting to me to communicate with people who genuinely are angered by such a, frankly, minor thing. As I said it's interesting to me your responses on this thread as you obviously hate it sooooooooooooo much , but others who feel the same go about sharing their opinion in a much different way. I am quite an agreeable person , and if you've noticed I've not really thrown many insults your way or other implications that I am "above" you - I've avoided things like language like chav, pretentious etc and only a couple of times have I let that slip.

You come across as a very angry individual consistently whether that is meant in a more "tongue in cheek" way is not clear on a written format.

Infact the only person deeply upset in here is av.

Funnily enough it's good to have a broad spectrum of people and views otherwise you end up incredibly closed minded.

It's a great skill to be able to see someone elses completely opposite view point.

Besides, with all the track days I do, and my deep passion for cars in general I think PH is an excellent community to be in.

However some people ruin that by being bigoted (which is actually a perfect description for av).
