I had a 2014 520d SE from new. It was on 17" wheels and was a great cruiser.

I did try a set of second hand 18's for a week and reverted back to the 17s as a personal preference. 17's were a bugger to clean though.... had a recess / lip behing the spokes that was awkward to get at.

It’s got the comfort pack so had comfort + settings and upgraded seats etc.

I’ve counted about £10,000 worth of options, just missed a speaker upgrade?

Don't all 5 series make nice motorway cruisers? Even an M5 does smooth road pretty comfortably.

I think the comfort package gives power adjustment to the seats. The actual comfort seats are another option.
I may be wrong so worth checking of the comfort seats are important to you.

It's a recent 5 series with 10k of options - what concerns you about whether you can drive on motorways in it?

I'm not sure if you're asking a question or making a statement?

The question mark didn't give it away?

^ Also a question.

Your reply made no sense, a little bit idiotic really, hence me asking a question.

Yes, they are lovely cars and built for the motorway, so I'd say you'd be fine.

Having done 2500 mainly motorway miles this month in my 2012 f11 520d msport, I can confirm it's a comfy place to be (even on 19" alloys). The seats are fantastic.
