some clips from my camera - terrible driving especially in the country roads. Its slightly better than navigating the motorway on a dail basis but still annoying to see people seemingly unable to perform overtake manouvres.

I wish the plod visited this kneck of the woods and pulled the 40mph'ers off the road

11:29 in the first YT link. Are you taking pictures on your phone?

Why have you turned comments off?
Why enable comments, PH sheep would have a field day and crash YT...! That shutter sound was the dash camera taking pictures. I have a remote fob which is handy to further showcase the useless idiots clogging up the roads. This driving is typical of what occurs in Ireland and I would have expected England to be significantly better, alas it's just as bad.

You were taking pictures of vehicles you were following?

Wow. Amazing stuff, that.

The only reason people turn off comments in their videos is because they are scared of people pointing out the truth. hehe

You should learn to drive properly slowly and then add speed.
Can we make it law that when you pass your test, you have to get this tattooed on your arm before you actually get your full licence. And then you can apply to have it removed free of charge once you've gone 5 years without any convictions.

Tbh I never even knew comments were disabled, but when I seen how ghastly some sheep are on pH I have no great desire to enable comments.

Many of them pieces of turd I overtake probably are gutless and the driver's know they cannot safely perform some overtaking in the first place. Which goes back to cars now been st and bland.

I had a Spec B vacuum cleaner, but it was too powerful and kept sucking the entire carpet right off the floor.
Now I just stick to Spec B cutlery, and I can eat a meal in 3.4 seconds flat.

Righto! jester

As they are on by default you would have had to have disabled them yourself, so you "never even knew" is just more of your BS. But it's OK, we'll just paste the links into the 'st driving' thread and point out all your failings there instead. I'm sure insomnia sufferers are really grateful for you uploading your 5min+ ones as well. smile

I'm just wondering if there is anything in your world that you enjoy/admire/celebrate?

Pristine overtaking?

More astoundingly st driving today, what’s even more scary is the majority of sheep seemingly in acknowledgement that this is actually perfect, which might be ok for mumsnet but for a supposedly motoring forum….and it looks to be a widespread phenomenon, the art of overtaking seems totally lost with the majority of drivers. You have significantly less chance of having any accident with a clear line of sight ahead, and not clouded by idiots moping around the place hitting brakes every 5 seconds etc

No matter how fast I drive, it's never enough for some drivers.drivinggrumpy

Related but not related. 'Speed Cameras to operate on the Humber Bridge after surveys found that 2/3 of drivers exceeded the 50MPH speed limit.'

What are you trying to prove with your latest video? I don't get how a rear view camera shows anything.

Maybe instead of wasting time calling us sheep you could ask yourself, why you post videos that only mean anything in "your world" and perhaps look at your own standard of driving instead.

He overtook some cars.

The cars behind him chose not to. He thinks this is acknowledging that it's ok to drive slowly like the cars he overtook were doing. You can quite easily see why they didn't.

15+ minutes I was already behind them idiots, more and more cars will gradually build up in a queue behind the zombies and I don't think they're all happy at the rate of progress, whether the crap they are driving nowadays can actually overtake is a topic for a different thread.

Plenty of scope along my whole route for overtakes, OMG! The road was wet, Christ!! A country road. I forgot overtaking is prohibited in such circumstances

Point out the exact time indexes in the video where the cars behind you should have made their overtakes.

e.g. your first overtake takes you about 5 seconds. Less than five seconds after that, oncoming traffic is level with the cars you overtook. Had the car behind you replicated your overtake after you, they would have encountered these other cars. The curves in the road later on probably don't give enough visibility for the drivers who were initially behind you (and are now a couple of cars back) to feel it's a secure enough overtake in the clear road they can see, when accounting for potential oncoming traffic speeds.

I think when you make your second overtake at the end of the video on the long straight, you can make out the car also making an overtake of the two cars you originally passed.

If you were the following car in that situation, and the car ahead of you made the first overtake you did in your video, when would you have made your own overtake as that following car?

The 15minutes prior to that, drivers behind the stupid s at the front of the queue had ample opportunity to overtake, I was at the end and could see ahead and could see gaps where anyone with a pair could have overtakes done, easily.

The clip I uploaded I done overtakes as I knew I could easily get past them idiots, I don't think people have absolutely no faith or confidence in the heaps they are driving now to perform some swift overtaking and go back to NSL, instead they just mope around behind vehicles.

You chose that footage, and showed it to us, apparently to illustrate people who are unwilling to overtake.

If you were driving the car initially following you in that video, when would you have made your overtake?
