Not for me.

Lot of bland for £22k.

It's up to you though as you havent really given us any criteria!

Not for me either, just another bland eurobox.

With no buying criteria it is impossible to suggest possible alternatives.

Cheers,

Chris

Nice car, just over two years old and lost about half it's value from new?

Just don't be surprised if it's trade in value is around £12,500 in a years time.

If that doesn't worry you, then enjoy the car.

As there are no criteria I'm voting this....

What could possibly go wrong? Or if you're feeling particularly ballsy....

You can lease a new Audi for a lot less than the likely costs of depreciation, financing costs and RFL.

For instance:

A4 Avant Black Edition https://www.leaseloco.com/car-leasing/audi/a4-avan...

A5 Cabriolet https://www.leaseloco.com/car-leasing/audi/a5-cabr... (also available in S-Line spec at good prices)

A6 Quattro 245 https://www.leaseloco.com/car-leasing/audi/a6-salo...

Or a A5 Sportback S-Line https://www.leaseloco.com/car-leasing/audi/a5-spor...

I know this is probably a discussion for another thread.

But reading in the news about Councils talking about banning all diesels from city centers in the future, I'm not sure I'd spend 20 bags on a diesel at the moment.

On first glance I thought that was a bible in the boot, which would have completed the American stereotype!

OP the depreciation was the standard amount across the board for cars of that age.

Now when spending 22k on a car I'm not buying a 2.0tdi when I can have a 3.0tdi with the same spec but admittedly more mileage

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

But I'd be buying the bigger A7:

640d Gran Coupe M Sport now this is the car Id buy if I wanted a four door coupe 6 months older than your offering

Oh indeed. And i said that on that thread.

Its just worth bearing in mind and there were quite a few similarities between the car in this thread and the other thread.

I know you did just saving the OP the hassle, as said if I was the OP I'd be buying the more desirable four door coupes listed above for these three reasons:

1) All the above have a 3.0d unit which are smoother quicker & only slightly worse on fuel

2) They all have a more spacious/nicer interior which you'll appreciate everyday

3) Depreciation will slow on these sooner than the A5 above because the A5 is a mainstream white goods car where as the A7 6GC aren't with far less sold & therefore less available on the used market.

Agreed, yes, on all points. beer

I’m doing 20k miles a year so leasing so expensive to get anything good.

Open to ideas from any good leasing deals if you have any ?

Ideally Audi or maybe Mercedes - dnt like how low the 3 series sits

Don't lease we've just given you some worthy options that'll take your 20k a year with ease so why look for other solutions when the answers are on this & your other threads.

OP I’ll admit that I’d love to be in the position of having £20k burning a hole in my pocket and no offence but is a 4-pot diesel Audi really the best thing to meet your requirements?

For £10k you can have many quick, efficient and reliable cars plus a war chest/holiday funds and cash for routine tyres/servicing left over.

Do you want that car because you love something about it in particular or because you think people will judge you as having “done well” or something along those lines? On a petrol head forum you’re not going to get much of the latter I’m afraid.
