Nice way to sell the 'future' and the 'heritage' at the same time, but what does it have to do with the GT3?

But nearly all the UK buyers ..... will order a Touring so no need to assess the wing design

If that really is a GT3 then I guess we'll see it at Geneva. Wonder if that's the launch colour?

This is indeed the new 992 GT3 gents. It features the production gooseneck style wing mounts which have been well disguised iin the mules. See the MR GT4 Clubsport for reference. Those are the production wheels too. Looks like someone left the front lift up!

That looks pretty damn good. Maybe it’s an evolution of Cobalt/Aqua blue?

Yes, the OP is very observant indeed! I would never have spotted it. Porsche marketing department are having some fun too, I imagine they're now checking social media to see who's actually spotted it smile

I think it's going to look a lot better than many of us predicted. The wings looked very awkward in those test mules. Not sure what can be done about the interior with the giant screen but I guess that will somehow end up looking good too.

Well disguised? I’d say more in the realm of bleeding obvious personally !

Will that wing design pass pedestrian collision safety tests though?

If you went up and over the front those wing supports look like they would do you a mischief.

Expect the execution to be a little less industrial than on the MR GT4 Clupsport pictured. The uprights will seat in the gap between the rear engine "hood" and the rear fenders for example (lile with 991 GT3RS).

The suprise will be the front treatment air intakes. There is talk of an S type ar damn arrangement not disimilar to the RSR and other production supercars (McLaren and Ferrari). In the absence of a front bumper air exit grill on the 992 GT3 the air will need to be pulled to an area inside the traditional 992 front hood canopy. How they executed the final production design here is one of teh best kept secretes as like the rear gooseneck assembly they have managed to camoflauge this very well to date.

There is no doubt Porsche included this car in the footage deliberately.

Other facts we know by now are the larger front and rear tyres (255/35R20 and 315/30R21). The latter on 21". New compound Cup2. 7 speed PDK-S. Aparently a host of improvements in EPAS, RWS and PASM calibration with new dampers and pick up points etc.

With the larger circumerfence 21" rears wheels they will need to use the 991.2 GT3RS gearbox ratios. For teh 6 speed MT they will ideally need to shorten the ratios to make up for the increased rear wheel diameter.

There is alot of talk of a 7.00 Ring lap on Cup2 non R. No sure if that will play out.

Overall looks promising ad is obviously production ready if they are including un camo footage at the SuperBowl
