I want his badge....
Discussion
One of his videos ended up in my suggestion box a month or so back (I think because I watched police chase videos)
I thought “what a wker” but then I watched some more, I really fell down a rabbit hole and I realised I want wrong and in fact started to think “what a ”. Then I read the comments, they’re something else.
I did laugh when he posted a police bodycam video of an incident and blurred his face. Bit hypocritical don’t you think? Happy to put people’s faces for the world to see (not necessarily police but people going into job centres and the like) but doesn’t want his face to be shown.

Thoughts?
You are as much of a tt for posting this thread, as the clown on the YouTube video. HTH.The fact that they package the whole thing up under some false assumption, that they are acting for the good over everyone else is pure fiction on their part.
You must have some dodgy internet cookies in your PC for sites like this to find you.

I'd be A-ok with these people having Police resources denied to them, a blacklist if you will.
They probably already wax lyrical about the Police not doing enough when they last needed them, or didn't turn up fast enough, without a hint of irony against the backdrop of their prejudices.

We had this recently at our work site. Nothing illegal specifically but our site has 2 gates. One gate where the ARV's go in and out, and one that leads to where we park our private cars. This particularly obnoxious guy was filming the latter. He was on public land and well within the law, but he was specifically filming our private cars comig and going to ensure he got a reaction. Because of what we do, no one wants the reg of their own car plastered all over YT where the morons who watch these videos can see. My work should not affect the safety and security of my family because some throbber put my car vrm in a public place. They don't care about that though, just their subscription count.
Exactly. Always good to film the vehicle they appeared in and see how they like it (it gets them frothing)

Is this F Park?We were short on the ground and a non-local had worked it out and was giving us pain. My irritation must have been obvious and an old stager PC told me not to bother as 'they always come again, then go too far'.
Later that evening, I got a call to the nick to meet the old stager. He had 'my' bloke in the cells. He gave me an arrest statement, and said, 'All yours.'
He got the arrest, and I got the fun of smiling at the bloke while fingerprinting, photographing and doing the descriptive forms. A satisfying end to a day dealing with football hooligans.
Cost me a pint, but cheap at the price.

Absolutely frightening that anyone can watch that and not understand it’s a waste of police resources. If someone is filming a police station is it not reasonable to check their motives are not malicious?
Whenever I see these videos I am staggered that the Police make a conscious decision to waste their own resources. The people making these videos are twerps, but they didn't ask the Police to waste their resources, moreover they would cause no trouble whatsoever if simply ignored. They would stand filming for an hour, get no reaction, and leave.
There are many similar videos out there, but they usually go like this:
Someone is wandering around filming outside Police stations, Army bases, Houses of Parliament, etc obviously trying to be noticed. They are then noticed by security or Police, and approached by an officer and asked what they are doing. As soon as the person says "I'm just filming a video for youtube" or starts saying "I'm legally allowed to be here and you cannot ask for my details" the officers simply laugh because they realise exactly what is happening, and just say "No problem Sir, you have a good day" and simply leave.
My question is, all officers must have seen these sort of videos a dozen times and know what the score is, so why on earth to they get involved, and why do they insist in wasting their own time with these idiots? Does it just become some stupid battle of ego and will?
Here's an example, by a firearms officer, of what they should be doing. The whole thing dealt with politely in less than two minutes:

The police come out of it looking highly professional and reasonable, and the youtuber gets no exciting footage.

I’m not anti-Police, I just go searching for videos where people antagonise them. Totally normal behaviour.
So you think the behaviour in the first post is acceptable?I don't need to search for them - as soon as you watch one on youtube you are inundated

I wonder if people do this at police stations in America...
I did see one a couple of years back somewhere in the US where some of these sovereign citizen crackpots tried to test their whatever it is amendment rights to bear arms and marched into the police station armed to the teeth.Predictably, to everyone except them, it did not end well, although they were, remarkably still alive and uninjured at the end of it.

This form of 'auditing' began in America and people have started copying it over here. As I said earlier while I agree this isn't the right way about it there are many police officers who seem to abuse their powers. A lot of them seem to lack knowledge of the laws they are supposed to uphold. scoey1001 said:

A lot of people seem to have unrealistic expectations of other human beings' behaviour in ridiculously contrived situations.I'm one that enjoys watching these Auditors, if anything I see it as reverse psychology to the Officers, a bit like the Attitude test they expect us to pass when being stopped for speeding.
Recently found https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCp8M1vJgcDq5HszXx... who seems to find the more aggressive officers, though I do enjoy when he drops the line "I wouldn't want you getting into trouble" or "your free to leave".
One thing I think where these Auditors are doing it 100% right is when visiting the Covid Test Sites, where the Security members seem to think they are the Police and choose what the law is, only for the Police to be called, and the Auditor then waiting about for an apology.
