Are these items stolen?
Discussion
I keep seeing brand new goods being sold on face book with reason for sale as "doesn’t fit", I have commented before asking "why not exchange it" and just get told that they cannot be bothered?
One said they cba to return to Amazon as they had thrown away the box but then said bought a bigger size, I wondered why they didn’t use the replacement box for the return?
If stolen wouldn’t the Police just watch Facebook and pick up the repeat offenders?

That specific item seems to be sold by a guy into motocross, and is selling other related items, so it's not fake, probably bought cheaply on a whim.
Ah. Ok, maybe legit then, it’s odd as most stores would exchange an item if bought the wrong size.Looked a bit more closely and the left hand badging seems to be missing a red bull motif that the others for sale seem to have.
In addition to the stolen and fakes you also have stuff being sold that the receiver has told the retailer the parcel never arrived and put the replacement they sent out up for sale
And also stuff that is bought (Often in bulk) when see on a deal website such as Hotukdeals where miss prices or incredibly good deals are listed.Often possible to buy something from a genuine seller that it's possible to resell on for a profit

The ads that I find annoying are the pictures of a random item, say a can of beans or Coke but it is surrounded by imported tobacco or cigarettes.
These people are clearly evading Tax and selling fake/contraband goods and are blatant about it.
I had a chat with the admin of a local FB sales page, who has been contacted by the police, who are, apparently watching this stuff.

As has been said, they're likely to be fakes or 'replicas.' Try searching Marketplace for Nike trainers and you'll find many, many listings for Air Max 270s (£100+ RRP) for £50 and under. There are plenty of sellers so must also be plenty of buyers. Whether the buyer is made aware the goods aren't the real McCoy or not is another matter entirely...

I've seen a few people presumably trying to circumvent police interest by including a link to their own private Facebook group in a listing, from which they can advertise their wares away from the public eye.Caddyshack said:

I'm not saying the items you find are legit, but I count myself amongst those who does not always return/exchange clothes that I should. That was the case back when we bought clothes from actual shops too. Clothes just don't interest me and I usually miss the window despite the best of intentions.However... That lack of interest would usually extend to reselling it on the internet...

My friend has a sales website in the VW world and he does get a lot of people claim that they did not receive the goods, Paypal find in the buyers favour even when he provides a signature to say the parcel was signed for, the buyer says "that is not my signature"And also stuff that is bought (Often in bulk) when see on a deal website such as Hotukdeals where miss prices or incredibly good deals are listed.Often possible to buy something from a genuine seller that it's possible to resell on for a profit
Again, had not even thought of your suggestion.,,,lots of naughty people out there.
