I’d love to have seen the scrote running down the road dragging the plan of wood behind him

That's a lot of effort for a little hand-pumped hydraulic cutter to make short, silent work of...
It was made of inch box, i doubt it would have been a quick job!

Doubt there's too many casual shed burglars carry one of those around with them
Hardly a casual burglar when you're going after motorcycles and eBikes. Especially the latter, Strava stalking and targeted thefts are big business.
There must be some strava honeypot accounts out there, leading to sheds and garages full of planks of wood with fishing hooks attached laugh

Sounds great, need to be careful about the bleeding hearts these days though.

As a side note, I'd say a locked shed is a perfectly legitimate solution to protect any open well.

When I lived in a st hole area, i put razor blades on the gate and fence. Literally hidden just out of site and poking up a couple of mm. You can't see them until you've grabbed the fence and sliced yourself up.

Heard screams late one night, went out to see a hammer and small tool kit on the garden floor and blood on the razor blades. The scum bag must have had the tools in his hand as he tried to grab fence to climb over then dropped them.

or a punji stick pit.

You made it as part of a vietnam war exhibit to show your mates and thought it would be a good idea to keep it behind a locked shed door.

Had a neighbor knock early one Saturday morning to tell me he'd seen my shed door was wide open!
Little tts only took a half full gallon container of petrol for my mower as that, and anything else of value, was tied together with a metal chain woven around and through and padlocked.
Shed is now well padlocked and alarmed, wont stop them but certainly st 'em up when the alarm goes off at head height so they get the full benefit right in their left lug hole! hehe

I disturbed an attempt to break into the other neighbors shed at around 3am. The tt was wrestling with one of 4 bikes in the shed, Trying to drag it, and the rest that where chained to it when I opened my kitchen door to confront him. He was down the garden and halfway over the 6' fence before I was actually outside!! Bloody Hell he was quick!!
Turned out the bikes where worth about £12k in total, and all had trackers hidden in the frames, so the neighbor told me! Stored in a garden shed!!

Doubt the fishing hooks would penetrate that deep tbf.

I'm readingt this thread thinking of what to do to my shed that's got at least £2k of stuff in it and that I'm confident I could pull the door and roof off of, then the walls, with my bare hands.

Pallet wood lining, tying the walls together better may be a start, and a better lock. Just got to be better secured than next door's right?!
