Can you fill in the underpants gap as to why governments would want to do this rather than getting life back to normal?
Simple politics Being seen to be doing something that helps everyone

Please don't think for one moment I am defending them, but don't you think they all will have had a test before gathering? Seems naïve bordering on stupid to assume that they won't have
So what? Unless this is another experiment similar to football matches?1. If you're an Internet randomer make your posts punchy
2. We still don't care but it saves time
3. My I.Q is 146 to 149 ie brighter than you statistically (although dyslexic) so other then spelling, if I say do it and you believe in educated knowledge, do it, vaccinate, as I have both in abundance of each with significant study.

I'm glad that mask-free party at the G7 coincided with me ditching my mask at the garden centre today. It was interfering with wearing my hearing aid.
So from now on the 'sunflower' lanyard is coming back out. I've tried to play nice, I really have. But if our Glorious Leaders don't need them, then neither do I.
Either the rules are there for the safety and protection of all, or they are just a stupid measure imposed upon us not because it is known to halt the spread of virus particles, but as a "to be seen to be doing something" measure that also doubles as a way of exercising control as an integral part of 'Project Fear'.
As for "they've probably been tested before meeting"? Well #metoo Once a week as part of the ONS/Oxford Uni Covid-19 Survey. And the last two visits also tested my blood, which was positive for antibodies after only one dose of the vaccine. I've since had my second jab, so Boris and his rag-tag band of jackasses can bray right off.
Any business that refuses to accept my exemption won't get any further business from me. And this farcical "mask on, mask off" nonsense to walk a few feet from the door to a table in a restaurant, bar, or cafe needs to stop for everyone. It really isn't fooling anyone at all anymore. It's absolute codswallop...

I wear one in shops out of common courtesy to the staff, who really don't need confrontation in their work from customers. They are the unsung heroes of these times.
No!"Bad Company" is the unsung hero here - he's standing up to the man and their demands that common, decent folk should not have to wear muzzles.....
I genuinely cannot stop myself laughing when an internet kid calls masks muzzles.
I mean, it's a good day anyway - lovely weather, football on the TV, iced coffee - but the cherry, when someone is so enraged at muzzles/masks - that is the hill they have decided to die on......come on, it must bring a smile to most people faces.

It probably does, but you can't see it.However, I suspect I'm not alone in finding masked women quite alluring. The crinkle of an eye... supermarket romancing has taken a new turn!
Maybe the Muslims have a point after all?
Having volunteered at a vaccination centre earlier in the year the anti mask lot were the unhealthiest looking bunch. Most of them with huge bellies and fagging away virtually up to the door before quoting some rubbish off Facebook.
I hate wearing them as much as anyone else but I also know how uncomfortable it can make other people, it's not all about me.

I was in a que to pay for fuel today, masked and standing on the blue circle thing with the feet.
Guy in front turns with a bit of aggression and says 'mate would you move back please'.
At that point he was called forward.
The whole thing has people thinking and acting in strange ways.

The lone anti-vax dad at my kids' school - who refused to go masked to collect his son (because conspiracy/WEF/control etc) so has to stand outside the school gates - is pasty and obese, and is regularly pictured on Facebook scoffing KFC or 'checking into' McDonalds. Blathers on about the vaccine and how he's not taking it. Oh and he also has quite bad asthma.I hate wearing them as much as anyone else but I also know how uncomfortable it can make other people, it's not all about me.
