I caught some lunatic driving and (minor) collision on my dashcam in Peterborough two weeks ago. Uploaded to the Cambridgeshire dashcam police portal, written proper report with all the details 10 days ago. Receipt acknowledged but no reply.

I'm not supposed to upload to social media having reported it as a crime, but presumably there comes a point where the police have effectively said not interested and I can show PH the juicy video?
No one cares about your dashcam video. HTH.
How prophetic hehe
Nonsense, I'm known for my quality posts.

Notable absence of any of their own exciting footage posted by the critics ITT.

Exactly!

I've got a film of some paint drying to show, if the mods could just give me the nod. Police weren't interested.
It has to be more entertaining than this....

We waited 28 days for that video, you cannot blame us for being rather underwhelmed hehe

Only because of the anticipated excitement of a proper crash, followed by the excruciating disappointment when it was finally posted smile

Dramatic or not, what we see in the video is a textbook example of the dire standards of driving that are becoming more common on our roads. Astonishing that the police didn't at least have words with the Passat driver.

Why on earth have posters come here who have admitted they are uninterested in a dash cam video, only to then give the op abuse? very odd indeed

Trying to get a monthly rate of posting as high as yours, by just commenting on any old tripe.

That is a good point. Passat driver, IMO deserves to lose their licence for that.

Clear footage, including their reg number throughout. Traffic moving at circa 60mph, decent pace for a weekday morning. No obvious need to make such a reckless move.

Pure aggressive behaviour from passat and it's very fortunate that the contact didn't result in a far more serious accident.

Now going through and researching my past posts is definitely odd, which thread have I spammed out of interest?

No research, just noticed a few that I'm already on...The dogs off lead one didn't exactly add much to the debate... don't take it to heart though.

So we have crossed paths in one thread where I actually made quite a valid observation, that thread is actually full of bellends is it not?. Yet you go on to accuse me of spamming other threads? I have not spammed anywhere, I quite enjoy reading and posting on PH at the moment as laid up with quite a serious back injury. Not aware of any thread where I have spammed or fallen out with anyone?

My OP description - "lunatic driving, minor collision" was absolutely spot on. Not my fault if you got over excited.
