We have a log burner which is in very good condition and is black in colour. We are wanting to change the colour to cream. Has anyone done this? Any tips or recommendations?

Thanks.

I would guess you can with a specialist heat resistant paint and as you say quite a few seem to be offered from new in different colours although the vast majority I guess remain black for a reason but not sure I would want to paint them personally !

I used a heat proof paint to spray the black flue grey to match our burner

It's faded over time, but still looks OK

Not sure a big change like you require might work though
