Alleged dangerous
Discussion
Yeah - Carl i now REALLY want to know what this was all about.
BiBs - doesnt he have any rights to know why he was subject to hassle (which this can only be considered) in this manner?
Because everything about it smells like Haddock.
how well known was you/your bike...?

They won't tell me - simple as that. They also quoted different days on 2 different letters. Somehow I do not expect to be told, and now it has turned out ok, there are some things I have learnt;-
a) always check the paperwork meticulously
b) don't sign anything
c) write a letter, DO not use normal post
d) be very careful who and where you "show off" to
e) read that thread about how other people percieve your driving/riding
f) don't be intimidated by article 172
g) once "in the clear", drop it.
h) do not trust prosecuting BiB to play fair all the time - they sent out incorrect documents in order to gain a signature even if I didn't declare.
i) DO READ PH, and use your head.
j) Drive *carefully*, and remember - THEY ARE OUT TO GET YOU !!
k) think seriously about that slower car / bike.
MAny thanks to those who gave me the mental edge to carry on, and to Ted for this marvellous website. That's 2 cases overturned.

and there use every loop hold then.
puzzled/hertsbikerIn your original and subsequent posts you said that you had no knowledge of having done anything. Tivster expressed surprise at this. In your last post you say, "d) be very careful who and where you 'show off' to." Would it be safe to conclude from this that you did in fact know, or have a very good idea, what you did, and when and where you did it?

nope, those points I made were generalisms. I am STILL GENUINELY UNAWARE of what happened. But thought some of you lot could do with the advice.
I can only assume that someone did not like something I did - not what "we" would call dangerous, but someone didn't like it none the less. Nothing that stood out in my mind, hence my tone: gonna be a lot lower profile from now on.
The only good thing to come out of this is that I think even more about the result of any action - and that even making a bit of engine noise may get you into bother.
Keep it shiney side up folks. Oh yeah, get eating your hat / pants, or whatever you said !!!
