I continue to find these goings on in Essex quite bizarre.

Here is a bloke who in a very short time, and probably not in this order, had his SIA clamping licence suspended, gets a 13 week jail sentence suspended for 12 months due to an incident where it's accepted he is not a court bailiff though posing as one, is at an incident where a bloke is subsequently jailed for discharging a replica gun where it appears he still perhaps was a bailiff (unclear), gets convicted of kicking a clamped "client" in the wedding vegetables and upon sentencing gets handed a 12 month conditional discharge from the court (FFS!!!) and then appeals that conviction last week.

How in hell did he expect that appeal to succeed? He and his brief should have got 3 months each just for wasting the court's time.
Maybe he wasn't the one who saw some value in it.

Probably so, but bet neither of them paid for it.

I'd stick a virtual fiver that the tax payer paid for the costs of the appeal, for both sides and those of the court.

Indeed it does stink.

After reading all 43 pages I am Speechless!.. cannot help feel OP hasn't done himself any favours but you are a calmer man than I to put it mildly. As mentioned a few times, VERY funny how the resident BiB have not commented.. Maybe you should stop a portion of your council tax till all monies recovered!

Just shows what a complete JOKE the so called police "service" are.. You have my upmost sympathies mate, really is like a big bucket of stinking piss being behind every door you open. I really hope one day you get back what is rightly yours. Do not give up mate and don't let the bds get you down.

The problem for the rozzers is the law is mainly on the clampers side.

The main area they will be able to do people for is intimdiation or harassment type offences and I imagine they are hard to prove 1 word against another.

That's bonkers, why would anyone just give up on a car worth a good few grand?.

Either a complete push-over, not real or reached the end of their energy?

Just thought I'd have a look at this thread and was surprised it's still gaining interest, some interest is genuine where as others is just people trying to stir as per usual.

1. No I didn't see or get the car back.
2. No the police would not do anything, if anything they refused to accept it was theft.
3. I am in the process of getting compensation for what the car was worth plus any out goings that I lost.

I'll keep an eye on this thread and only answer genuine questions, st stirs can carry on but I couldn't care what you say smile

Well good luck. I am just so surprised just how little, zilch in this case, the police can and can't do in these situations.

If you had pushed the clampers over, no doubt you would have been arresed for toot sweet.
