Having had a recent slip up with a camera (now disabled in Tidworth)which resulted in a 'Speed Awareness Course' I just had to add my bit.

That was presumably the Tidworth camera just over the brow of the hill. Disabled? Oh dear, that WILL be sadly missed....not!

Off topic, I often wondered if the cars parked in the layby there were ever done for speeding in error.

You've got to drive this road to know how absurd 30 feels. And even if you drive it every day, they eye is not trained to see a red light camera as a speed trap.

Plus you've got a much lower spec road a mile away that's a 50 limit. Pure money making.

It's the single place where my Road Angel makes pays for itself every time.

Worth looking at http://www.dorsetspeed.org.uk/Default.aspx which has lots more about it, and how to protest.

Faceless tts run all these systems, and they are dogmatic to an extreme. You can sometimes see why 'direct action' is more satisfying than hoping that logic and fact will win a discussion and lead to actual 'progress'!!

All means are fair.

We should all be doing our very best to destroy politicians who support these racketeers...
