Call me biased (and I have only seen the photos), but i think the C6 is (after 7 years in production) a nicer looking car than the new F-Type.

You would probably do better making the same comment re. the Honda S2000 IMHO it looks closer to that!

Well i know at some point after seeing the pictures and the stats of the F-type then i know at some point i will need one in my life. Regarding the C6 even after 7 years production it still looks a modern design.

F-Type is circa 4.45 metres long (35cm shorter than an XK per Autocar). So it's C6 (4.435 metres) size long.

NO, have you not seen an F Type?
The F Type is a creation of extreme beauty.

I love Corvettes and am partial to Jags but can't agree with the title of this post one bit...

But if you jad said C6 Z06 or ZR1 that may be different!

You're biased hehe The C6? Is that the one that looks rather like the Honda NSX from 20 years ago?

Maybe to Stevie bloody Wonder. Apart from them both having 4 wheels, I can't see anything similar between them.

Some may say I am biased but I genuinely am not, especially having done some consultancy on automotive design for manufacturers. I can't say I am impressed with the F Type at all. I don't see any heritage, a family design style or any cohesive flair that makes me get excited. I am sure it will be dynamically impressive but hey, so is a Lexus! There is more to life than dynamics and I don't see any heart or soul here.....

The F-Type is incredibly generic looking. It's a very tame and boring design.

It looks like a cross between a Maserati and an Audi.

I suggest you go to spec savers.

Mid engined / front engined
Popup lights / fixed lights
All black roof / painted roof
Rear ducts / front duct
Low square rear end / relatively high curved rear end
I could go on but really can't be asked.

They do have one thing in common over the jag though............ Reliability.

Get it right, the C6 really looks like a 3rd Gen MR2 biglaugh

Or is just that they're all red cars with scooped sides.....?

I wouldn't knock Jag reliability. They have come along way since the 70,s and 80,s and are some of the most reliable cars on the market. Ive had a number. And none of them have let me down.

That new Jag is fit!

there will be loads of them around soon, one of the main reasons I love my 'vette is there's not to many people who (are daft enough to) buy them.

Might be confusing? Even Kenny Rogers doesn't look like Kenny Rogers anymore.
