Hi I'm just starting my long time planed restomod project of my 1957 c1 corvette
I imported the car to the UK about a year and bought it to do this project
I'm sure there's a lot of corvette fans that will be horrified of thought this!!
I spent about a year looking for a car that was relatively complete but non-original.
This car was converted to a drag in the 70s then converted back to streetcar in the early 90s
So although the brightwork is correct, Mechanically it is wrong And theres a lot of wrinkles to iron out.
The car does still have a lot of original parts that I will not be using
Hopefully these can go towards keeping an original car on the road.
I have started a Facebook page of the build, Search " corvette c1 restomod "
There I will be posting photos of the build if anyone is interested.
Please Like the page if you do.

The C1 Corvette is one of my all time favourite cars, as soon as I get my new garage built I will be searching for one!

In the meantime I found you on Facebook and will follow progress, look forward to seeing it. Cheers.
