What sort of car do you have? Modern Mustang or old classic?

In the Viper club, we tend to do a lot of European Touring (simply because the roads are less congested and we meet up with other European Viper Clubs).

Unless you get up before the crack of dawn, after 10am the UK now is a crap place to drive.

Of course there are other club members that just want to Show and Shine. With any club, you meet like minded people, become friends and some will favour driving touring and others will do local shows

Thanks for your reply - judging by lack of response herein I guess most UK Am car owners are of the 'show/shine' or 'No go showboat' variety - oh well, there's plenty of UK 'mongrel' clubs that do actually drive their cars. My 'Canyonised' Camaro NB - 'Yank terminology' will fit in well with themsmile
If you and drivers Viper club ever make it to darkest Wales - PM me, I'd be happy to show you some of the best/quietest driving roads in Europethumbup

There are plenty of clubs - Mopar Association - Mustang Owners - American Automobile - Vette Owners and so on but I’m not aware of any US driving club per se.
They all have various organised national meets and local chapters get together at pubs and diners where there will be a mix of rat rods and trailer queens - that’s the nature of the beast. Within each group there will be both static meets and cruises and nobody minds what make of car you turn up in.
Round my way in summer there are a dozen local monthly meets for all makes of car - again some meets are static and some involve a whizz round the local roads.
The associated club forums have taken a bit of a hit recently with independent Facebook pages and websites now taking a lot of the traffic but these guys also organise a lot of stuff amongst themselves. As before, some meets are static, others are cruises to the shows or diners or the seaside.
It’s just a case of negotiating your way around the different websites to see what is going on.

I'd be up for a US DRIVERS type club through PH - not on face page or similar thankfully smile
