Anyone know anything about the Z06 currently on eBay? Black on bronze wheels, looks familiar like I’ve seen it here before?

You should be able to click my name and "email" me if that works.

I think ive decided ill bag the next yellow z06 which comes up but if ZR1 isnt much premium that could be fun/better investment.

Ive had a look in america and most ZR1 are around 70-80k so the red one looks like a good deal. The fact its been for sale for years makes me super nervous though.

I am forever changing my mind tho.

Just beware of anything that looks like a bargain.

I looked at a Viper last year which appeared to be good value and the UK HPI checked out fine. I then did a US Carfax report and discovered that the car had been written off and declared not to be used again in the US.

awesome. Great colour.

How many C6 ZR1 are in the UK i wonder?

The prices on PH/Autotrader seem all over the place for Z06/ZR1. Some at 30k ish don't sell, but others are up at 50k.

Think some charge a premium for a UK car (rightly or wrongly). Personally I don't like the Euro rear lights but that's easily changed. There's obviously some other minor differences light front number plate plinth. Main attraction is the history I imagine. Obviously there's modified vs unmodified too.

All the £35k-ish ones seem to be red as well annoyingly, as that probably my least favourite after yellow. It's a funny market. Some cars seem to sit around for ages with a rubbish advert that has a single photo and poor description (black Z06 in York IIRC) - like they're not even trying!

There is a lot of difference between a Z06 and a ZR1 not just a supercharger.Suspension,Carbon brakes, gear ratio,s chassis to name a few.My own car when supplied new had every option available and had a reputed sticker price of $140k.There is a feature of my car in the Corvette magazine explaining about its history. The private plate goes with the car,it was on a 12 reg from new.It has full service history all 2012 manuals, last service at 28k miles. It has the optional ZL3 interior package and I just fitted brand new 335 25 20 Michelin Pilot sports2 tyres.I know of 4 ZR1s in UK so they are rare here.

I was only commenting on the C6 Z06 prices. I know the difference with a ZR1.

Is it easy enough to run a US Carfax? I looked once and it looked tricky to do from the Uk??

Its easy, you just need the VIN of the vehicle you are checking.

Not sure if any of the posters who were considering a C6 Z06 on this thread have seen this one. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202208289...
It's nothing to do with me, but there's just been a post on the Facebook "Corvettes For Sale UK" page with a discussion about this car.

Cheers dude. Needs to be 30’s for me or 40’s for zr1.

I’d prefer cheaper and higher mileage as I plan on driving the snot out of it smile
