Ian Allen Motors Closing

I contacted GM Europe to ask where to take my car to maintain warranty now that Ian Allan Motors were closing and they presented Stockport as the only "official" option. They did not answer my question about servicing and warranty so I'm none the wiser on that front, i.e. if I can go to Ian Goss for services and still qualify for warranty.
They also made no mention of Lumen or Arnold Clark in Manchester who both now claim to be official RHD Corvette dealers...
Sounds like that may of answered my question about lack of interest from GM,They also made no mention of Lumen or Arnold Clark in Manchester who both now claim to be official RHD Corvette dealers...
Some years ago when i enquired they past me on to the local Saab dealer who
didn't have a clue what they were doing GM wise
I assume we are not the only rhd countries that GM are building C8's for otherwise they just might pull the plug ,

Warranty would be valid as long as the vehicle is serviced within the manufacturers schedule, using approved parts and completed by a VAT registered service provider. This is normal practice as they can't force you to use a main dealer (Motor Vehicle Block Exemptions Regulations).
We look after a few at GT101 if anyone wants an alternative - we're in Colchester.

Would you service a Camaro? I bought mine from Ian Allan in 2020 and it's been serviced by them ever since. I've not had any comms from them that they are closing. Colchester is quite near to me so would save me a trip down to Surrey every year!We look after a few at GT101 if anyone wants an alternative - we're in Colchester.

I thought I'd give them a call and see if I can get booked in and the chap who I won't name told me they weren't able to service cars until late September because they don't have all the kit from Chevrolet yet and they can't even turn off the service lights. He reckoned it was the same for every official dealer which begs the question how independents seem to be able to manage it...
There have been a couple of good suggestions above but it's still my preference to stick to official dealers at least whilst the car is in warranty. I know that shouldn't be necessary but it helps avoid arguments should a claim be necessary and probably helps residuals.
