Well after 4 years of Lotus Elise ownership I felt like a change and after driving past Caterham's showroom fairly frequently I decided that it had to be a Cat 7.

I loved this one which Millwood had in stock. Great service from John at Millwood who trailered the car 150 miles to me and took the Lotus away. I had not driven it or seen it in "the metal" but it really did not disappoint, and was exactly as described.

Built by a Caterham employee when he worked at the factory it has been been owned by one very careful owner for the last 17 years. It is absolutely immaculate and I'm glad to be the next "custodian".

The car arrived on Wednesday but a combination of work and bad weather has limited my outings to two brief drives but I look forward to getting some more miles under my belt (but I have spent a lot of time in the garage looking at it....how sad am I?) Reading Low Flying last might I see there is a gathering at Handcross on the 4th November for the London-to-Brighton run so look forward to seeing some of you then

Wow. I like the unique colour scheme on your car. Works really well. I do have the Brooklands in the spare bedroom. I assume you use a helmet when driving? They make the car look great but I'm just not sure how practical they are.

Brooklands sameas aero screen for practicality. Great if you don't mind using a helmet. bit of a pain if it rains. mind you just built mine with aero as you really feel like it a little racer :-)

Fatrat,
We passed each other on the Ashdown Forest during the recent hot weather. Mine is dark blue aeroscreened.
