As per title,

I'm tidying up a 1992 Ford engined Super Sprint and unable to find my thread pitch gauge, are the thread sizes metric or imperial or a mixture?

If my 1993 Supersprint was anything to go by it'll be a mixture of UNC, UNF and metric.

As aeroscreens has said....bit of a 'Barrats all sorts' ..... biggrin

I've found that mechanical bits and bobs on mine (supersprint) are mainly, but not exclusively, non-metric whilst trim, 'things that are attached' etc are metric. But every car varies a bit I think especially on pre '95 era cars (although factory built cars are more black and white do to speak...).

So far, most fixings appear to be metric as far as the bolt spanner size are concerned, I have not measured actual thread sizes but a 11mm spanner seems to be getting a lot of use.

That's because it's pretty much the same as 7/16" a very popular bolt size on the imperial cars.
