Hi all,

The time has come to service the A4 2.0 Petrol for the first time and I went to get a quote from my local Audi dealership. Very friendly service staff but the quote seems very high;

Inspection & Oil change £378.20
Replace Pollen Filter £41.24
Total £419.44

Is there anything I can do to get this cheaper as this seems very expensive to me?

The car:
A4 - 65 plate
2.0ltr petrol Quattro
11,000 miles
First service

Thank you for any help.

Haggle.

Or try another dealer.

Not rocket science.

Don't know if it helps but in June I was charged £390 for what you're stating plus a brake fluid change for my 2014 S4 at local Audi dealer.

Use a specialist or beat the dealer with a stick; that should be in the area of £250.

No different to servicing a car that's a year older that Audi will offer at a lower price.
