How are you going to locate the new battery?

It weighs so little it wont have a lot of inertia.
I put a bracket/rail and sponge strips to hold it between the back of the bulkhead and bracket, and ran a strap beneath the bracket/rail to loop over the top and hold it in.

It is not at all like a lead battery of the same size. It weighs 1.45kg

Tried the battery yesterday and it did not work.
poo!
The reason for that is that it is a deep discharge battery for stuff like electric bikes, wheelchairs etc. NOT a car or bike battery, the advert is cr*p as they don't explain that, I would imagine they would p*ss a lot of people off
What you want are the proper Li Ion batteries designed to replace car/bike batteries, see HERE for the sort of thing you need. They have much lower capacity than lead acid, but much higher cold cranking amps, once started your alternator should be coping with any loads on the electrical system, not the battery

Agreed, and as I said before there seems to be no agreed system of specification!

However, the Anti gravity battery has not let me down yet and I am convinced it is the most cost effective way of shedding weight. It is an awesome thing!

For those wanting to do it on the cheap... I've just had this one off ebay. Less than 800g and works a treat on my Duratec.
