Hi all,

The radiator on my Caterham K Series is leaking a little. Is there an alternative to buying genuine parts? The parts seem excessively expensive for what they are.

The Caterham part can be found here...

https://caterhamparts.co.uk/radiators/43-aluminium...

What are my options please?

Try Radtec at Cannock. They fixed a leaking radiator on my Porsche 944T for about £70. If its not possible to repair they may be able to manufacture a replacement - worth a call.

Thanks I've contacted them. They're saying because if where it is leaking it won't be possible to repair.

I'm therfore probably looking for a replacement. Is a genuine Caterham radiator the only option? I can get a small discount from an independent dealer but if want to make sure there isn't an alternative?

I heard this too. Wasn't sure if it was a myth or not?

If it were to be true, does anyone know the part number? Or what model polo it's from?

Jim, call Radtec back, they make a number of different radiators for the Caterham depending upon how powerful your engine is.
