Does anyone know this car?

http://www.gpsevens.co.uk/portfolio-item/caterham-...

Just viewed and test driven, feels like a Formula car with the straight cut box, has been living in France of late and Germany before that in 2015, but it seems little is known about what's it's been up to.

I'm after a track car so it could be just the ticket, but would love to track down some previous owners.

Yes. Whilst it's now been fitted with a screen, it is the car that was offered to me at considerably less than this. It's had a full engine rebuild from Jubu Performance in Austria. There's also a PH thread suggesting that it may have been rebuilt following an early accident.

That’s useful thanks. Do you know where the other thread is?

I thought it may be the one that was on Auto Trader in York about 5 months ago - for about £25k!!!

This was the link to the pictures when I was searching. You know it’s the same one as despite the screen they still haven’t put the wheel centre caps on, it’s the only 5 speed CSR, and the cut out for the intake isn’t standard CSR fair.

I know nothing about the car, although I saw it in the flesh when I picked mine up.

If it's the car in Knaresbrough, I didn't see much detail behind the rebuild ...

Has anybody else seen this ?

I had interest also in this car. If you contact Juba, they will give you the full list of work carried out. It worked out to 22k.
The car is clean, and I am sure the engine is a peach, with the work that has been done to it.

No one was very forth coming with info about its alleged track smash, but from what I was told, it was fully rebuilt by Caterham afterwards.
It then spent time abroad, where Juba carried out the engine rebuild, and at huge cost.

If I had bought the car, i would have got the car for under 30k. Get the reg, and then do a google search, and you should find all the info I did. For the money I was paying, It wasn't a bad buy at all, to be fair, considering the work done. It was just to hardcore for me, and speaking to a previous owner, it was putting out about 290hp, as per a Rolling road he had it on, post work.
